RSEI Consultants Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Technologist to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and administration of electrical engineering projects--ranging from small-scale upgrades to large, complex systems--across the Atlantic Provinces.

Key Responsibilities



As an intermediate/senior electrical technologist, you will be responsible for developing electrical engineering design projects from the start, applying your design expertise throughout the design phase and overseeing the construction phase, with the following key responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. Prepare, review, and verify drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Apply and interpret electrical codes, standards, and client requirements. Conduct site reviews and inspections to oversee construction progress and compliance.
Review shop drawings and technical documentation to support project execution.

Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success. Commit to continuous learning and professional development in the electrical engineering field.

Qualifications & Skills



We welcome candidates from various backgrounds, but the following will be considered strong assets:

10+ years of experience

in the electrical trade, installing electrical systems, or working with electrical design drawings is an asset.

Minimum of 5 years of design experience in a consulting engineering environment is required.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology

(or equivalent) from an accredited program is required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

for electrical system design is an asset. Experience with

SKM Systems Analysis and AGi32 Lighting Software

is an asset.

Strong communication skills

in English (written and verbal) are mandatory; French is an asset. Excellent

time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
