Position Overview:



We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Intermediate/Senior CAD Specialist

to join our dynamic team. This role requires a sharp eye for design, technical expertise, and the ability to translate creative concepts into precise CAD drawings. Key Responsibilities:



Create and revise detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for renovation projects - with a primary focus on condo common areas renovation & refurbishment. Conduct on-site measurements and analysis, translating field data into base CAD drawings Collaborate with the Senior Designers and Project Managers to develop accurate plans and technical specifications. Assist and mentor the Junior Designers in their tasks, providing guidance and support to ensure drawings meet project standards. Ensure drawings comply with the Ontario Building Code, local regulations, and condominium guidelines. Prepare detailed layouts, elevations, and material specifications to guide project execution - including general interior design drawings and CCDC contract drawings. Prepare shop/millwork drawings based on the Designers' vision, ensuring accurate representation of design intents for fabrication and implementation. Review and update CAD libraries to maintain consistency and efficiency. Work with the Designers to provide creative input and suggest design improvements. Conduct on-site visits to ensure alignment between drawings and on-site conditions.

Qualifications:



Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite a plus). Minimum 2 years of CAD experience, ideally in interior design or architectural projects. Familiarity with the Ontario Building code and condo renovation standards in Toronto. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent shop/millwork drawing skills & knowledge. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and workflows, and meet deadlines. Strong Initiative & work ethic (both independently & within a group) Valid Class G Ontario driver's license
