Jarvis Design Firm is looking for am Intermediate/Senior Licensed Architect to join our team! Job Type: Full-time What you will do:

• Lead in the production of creative, functional and innovative designs for New and Existing Building Project, consulting with clients and collaborating with management on preparation of project proposals
• Provide support to the Principal on all phases of building design projects as required, and assist in growing this sector
• Complete designs and working drawings utilizing Revit Software when required
• Meet with clients to discuss potential new work and/or review project requirements
• Preparation of design and contract documents, document checking, manage construction review and contract administration throughout the duration of a project
• Communicate with construction team to provide information and solve problems
• Lead and review work of Junior and/or Intern Architect as required

Minimum Requirements: Candidates must possess at least the following:

• University Degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of five (5) years of Architectural design experience, including experience working on Operations, Storage, and Maintenance Facilities
• Must be a Licensed Architect with the OAA and/or other Provinces.
• Beginner to Intermediate skill level utilizing Revit Software
• Ability to work on technical and financial proposals and seek for new client and potential work.
• LEED certification and project experience is a strong asset
• Demonstrated strong creativity in design
• Technical knowledge of building construction and the Ontario Building Code
• Ability to work on a number of projects simultaneously in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills

Experience:

• Current knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations.
• The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
• Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.

Skills: \xc2\xb7 Software proficiency: MS Office, Structural Design Softwares, Familiarity of Revit would be beneficial. \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication (English) \xc2\xb7 Excellent time management skills \xc2\xb7 Salary is to be determined based on each candidate\'s experience. \xc2\xb7 Possess a valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation (required) Schedule: \xc2\xb7 Monday to Friday \xc2\xb7 Flexible Hours (40-44 hrs/week) \xc2\xb7 Part-Time or Full-Time - Remote/Work from Home Option Compensation: \xc2\xb7 Salary is to be determined based on each candidate\'s experience.
