BIM is seeking a dedicated Intermediate to Senior-Level Underwriter to join our growing team. We are looking for someone dedicated to delivering exceptional service while document processing with precision and professionalism.

Intermediate Underwriter

Job Type:

Hybrid, Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday

Pay:

From $65,000

What You Will Do:

Evaluate and underwrite property and casualty or commercial lines risks, conducting risk analysis using internal and external data Build and maintain professional relationships with brokers, providing prompt service, acting proactively, and resolving issues with a solution-oriented approach Authorize the renewal of existing policies, accept new business, and handle endorsements and policy changes Ensure underwriting practices align with evolving regulations and company guidelines and delegated authority parameters Support team operations with a positive attitude, can do approach

What You Bring:

Genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional client service Strong organization and time-management skills Passion for learning and helping others Experience in sports and fitness underwriting is an asset CIP or provincial insurance license is an asset
