We are seeking an enthusiastic Intermediate Architectural Technologist to support a variety of exciting and intricate projects. In this role, you will be integral in advancing projects from initial design through to construction, collaborating with a dynamic team of architects, technicians, and designers. Your technical expertise and ability to navigate design and construction challenges will be key to the success of the projects and maintaining the firm\'s esteemed reputation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine design concepts from design development to contract documents.
  • Prepare detailed specifications, construction drawings, and building permit applications.
  • Perform contract administration duties both on-site and in the office.
  • Provide technical direction and support to other staff members.
  • Oversee project work plans, budgets, and design schedules to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and City officials to ensure project compliance and address any issues.
Qualifications:
  • Certification in Building or Architectural Technology.
  • 3-6 years of experience in producing construction drawings and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD / Experience with Rendering Software an asset.
  • Strong expertise in construction detailing & working drawings.
  • Experience with construction adminsitration an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of technical and conceptual aspects of design.
  • Ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple consultants.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and bylaws.
  • Understanding of building materials and technology.
  • Capable of mentoring and guiding junior staff.
