Our top government client on the Oomple platform is looking for a

Intermediate Systems Analyst

to join their team for a

6-month Hybrid contract

.

This position focuses on supporting core organizational functions through effective system analysis, technical documentation, and collaboration with various teams to ensure the technical architecture meets the evolving needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the design and implementation of enhancements to various systems, including workflows and forms. Create or update technical documentation and ensure compliance with technical architecture standards. Provide technical support, guidance, and advice in areas such as scheduling and technical direction. Coordinate system analysis, application development, and testing activities. Collaborate with an Agile team to deliver bug fixes, operational enhancements, and new functionality. Translate business requirements into viable technical solutions. Work closely with other infrastructure groups within the organization. Adhere to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with the Testing team for comprehensive solution testing. Manage changes through a secure source control process. Define security/access control levels for technical solutions. Lead and assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements. Review and analyze existing systems for effectiveness and efficiency. Support go-live activities and ensure smooth transitions to Production. Provide knowledge transfer to the Solution Support team. Contribute to Level 3 Support activities for incident and problem resolution.
Specific Project Requirements:

High-Quality Code and Features

Design, develop, test, and deliver complex software features. Ensure code is scalable, maintainable, and meets performance benchmarks. Contribute to architectural decisions and design reviews.
Test Coverage and Automation

Deliver comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Create or enhance CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
Project Ownership and Delivery

Take ownership of feature delivery from design to release. Break down tasks, estimate effort, and ensure timely completion.
Skills Required:

3+ years of experience with C#, building APIs, Azure, and Terraform. 4+ years in IT systems development and the full software agile lifecycle.
Assets:

Experience in Agile teams with Business Subject Matter Experts and Analysts. Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills, especially Excel. Experience working with 3rd party vendors and integrating applications. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities. Experience in an Insurance or Financial Services environment is an asset.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
