The Canada Masonry Design Centre (CMDC) is seeking a Structural or Civil Engineer to join our Vancouver office as a
Masonry Design Engineer
. This is a rare opportunity to work with Canada's leading technical authority on masonry construction contributing to design innovation, industry education, and the development of national building codes and standards.

We support engineers, architects, masons, and manufacturers by delivering cutting-edge resources, technical guidance, and training programs that directly shape how masonry is used in construction across the country.
We're looking for a technically strong and motivated individual ready to make a long-term commitment to a highly specialized and rewarding field. If you enjoy public speaking and can clearly communicate complex engineering concepts to diverse audiences, from tradespeople to design professionals, you'll thrive in this role.
At CMDC, your work will be meaningful and impactful. You won't just be behind a desk; you'll be influencing national codes, engaging with industry partners, and helping to build better, more resilient buildings. This position offers a distinct alternative to traditional consulting--with a collaborative team culture and excellent work-life balance.
If you're ready to grow your career while helping shape the future of masonry in Canada, we want to hear from you.
