Title : Intermediate Software Developer (3 days Onsite Hybrid)
Location: - Toronto, ON , Canada
Duration : Contract

Description :
The LRC Integrated Planning (IP) team requires a developer to design, build and implement a sustainable solution to prioritize, estimate, allocate capacity and schedule work coming in from ministries, the broader OPS and put forward by LRC itself. This project includes the development and implementation of the fully integrated planning process into one tool to keep all data pertaining to work items in one database with multiple users, allowing for more efficiencies and for data reporting that is currently manual in nature. The Developer will build upon an existing Power Apps with Data verse system incorporating all processes from the planning process.

Responsibilities:

  • Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications in the Power Platform environment.
  • This includes:
  • Developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  • Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations
General Skills:
  • Experience in programming and analysis; Microsoft Power Apps and Data verse software package support at the intermediate experience level.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications.
  • Experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience in application, deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with relational database concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages.
  • Experience with report development using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to make recommendations and suggestions;
