We are an award-winning, hospitality interior design firm located in the Broadway/Kits area seeking a talented
Intermediate Revit Technician/Technologist
to join our team. Only selected qualified individuals will be contacted for an interview and testing.
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with our team of interior designers to produce high-quality design and technical documents for hospitality and senior living projects
Prepare accurate and detailed drawings, specifications, and other technical documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software as required
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure that technical documents meet project requirements and are completed on schedule
Review drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with building codes and standards
Participate in project meetings and site visits as required
Mentor team members and provide technical guidance and support as required particularly for Revit
Qualifications, Education & Experience
Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology from a recognized educational institution.
Minimum 5 years Revit experience in an architectural or design firm (modeling, drawing development, BIM, family creation inclusive), Autodesk certificate is an asset
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Suite
Good knowledge and navigation of BC and National Building Code.
Proficient in producing detailed working drawings.
Excels in time management, ensuring project deadlines are consistently met.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Organized and maintains meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with active listening abilities.
Works effectively both independently and collaboratively under direction.
Understanding of interior design and construction documents
Minimum 2 years prior work experience in design or architectural firm in Canada
Valid work status in Canada and fluent in English both speaking and writing.
