Our Financial Reporting team is seeking a driven Intermediate Revenue Accountant to join our team! You will be a motivated self-starter with excellent time-management and organization skills who is excited to work closely with our internal stakeholders. You will be an integral part of ensuring our revenue is recorded correctly in all of our entities, as well as a key contributor to our month-end close process. All while demonstrating attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills!

What You Will Do:

• Perform reconciliations between the accounting system (Intacct) and the customer relationship management system (Salesforce)
• Collaborate with the invoicing, legal, revenue operations and renewals team to review pending, new and renewing client contracts to ensure the revenue recognition correctly reflects the agreements
• Assist with month-end close processes related to revenue for multiple entities, with different currencies, including preparation of:

• Journal entries, including accrual entries, as well as supporting schedules and account reconciliations;
• Variance analysis, alongside the FP&A team, to create value-added analysis of actuals to actuals, budget and forecast
• Financial reports
• Work alongside the Operations team to ensure revenues are accurate to client contracts and Master Service Agreements
• Prepare memorandums to support ASC 606 alongside our Technical Accounting Specialist
• Initiate, develop, document, and implement revenue process improvements by working closely with internal teams on related projects
• Assist with the annual audit and with documentation and monitoring of internal controls and processes related to revenue
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and integrity of revenue accounting information
• Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation
• Other ad hoc reporting and accounting projects, as required

What You Bring:

• Bachelor\'s degree and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in good standing
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in a corporate accounting department, with experience in revenue accounting
• Experience in software as a service subscription accounting is a plus
• Highly developed ability to multitask and prioritize
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, in-depth knowledge of ASC 606 is a plus
• Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and with a team
• Motivated to learn, question the status-quo, and encourage change when needed
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated attention to detail and well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• US Sales tax experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Intacct or Netsuite accounting software (or other cloud-based accounting software) and Salesforce is a plus
• Willingness to learn new financial systems and overall tech-savviness
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Google suite a plus
