INTERMEDIATE PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

We are growing rapidly and is looking to add extra accounting staff. If you are interested in this on-site accounting position, please forward your resume and covering letter with salary expectation.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

3 years of accounting experience within Property Management and Real Estate Development required

A university degree or college diploma in Accounting, CPA designation preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Punctual and reliable

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail oriented

Responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to:

Full cycle Accounts Payable (matching invoices, getting approval, preparing cheques, and cheque runs), Accounts Receivable (collecting rent roll, vendor/tenant management, processing payments), understanding of journal entries Maintain property management accounts Review preliminary monthly statements and generate financial statements to complete the monthly reporting Prepare monthly/annual journal entries, AR adjustments, GST reconciliation, and other ad hoc entries related to mortgages, leases, etc Preparation of documentations related to cost recoveries/common area management audits and chargeback to tenants, responding to tenants for questions related to said chargebacks Posting and reconciliation of rent rolls Preparation and review of bank reconciliations Preparation of year-end review/compilation working paper files

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
