The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping project teams deliver on time and within scope, while ensuring all project support systems and documents are well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and distribute project documentation, including contact lists, organizational charts, and contractual records
Assist with the development and maintenance of project schedules and tracking tools
Monitor the progress of project deliverables and raise issues when necessary
Support project leadership by drafting reports, briefings, and presentation materials
Perform data entry and fundamental analysis to support reporting and decision-making
Coordinate onboarding, training, and orientation activities for new project team members
Organize logistics for project meetings, workshops, and reviews
Maintain documentation standards and version control within project folders
Act as a key point of contact for general project administration and internal coordination
Required Qualifications
Education:
Completion of a
secondary school diploma
, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience
Experience:
Minimum 2 years (24 months)
of experience in a project administration, coordination, or similar support role
Experience supporting project delivery in a structured, multi-stakeholder environment
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello
Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting
Additional Requirements
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain
Secret (Level II) Clearance
through Government of Canada screening processes
This includes a criminal background check, identity verification, and potential fingerprinting
Nice to Have
Experience in federal, provincial, or public sector projects
Familiarity with government procurement or contracting environments
Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
