Job Description

Alphinat develops the SmartGuide software solution, which enables the rapid development of multi-platform web/mobile applications.

JOB PROFILE
After on-site training, the candidate will be involved in the integration of SmartGuide into a .NET or Java environment. They will work on the design of applications (implementing business rules using the SmartGuide Designer visual tool), their visual rendering with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and their integration with the client's existing back-office systems.
Additional responsibilities include writing documentation, quality assurance and writing automated tests, and project management using Agile methodologies. The candidate must be a fast learner, have excellent organizational skills, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Permanent position possible at the end of the term to work on the development of the SmartGuide software and derivative products (SmartProfile, SmartDB, SmartPortal with OData connectors) and occasionally participate in product integration for clients.

Job Requirements:

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Science or a related field Good knowledge of .NET Good knowledge of Java Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript At least three years of programming experience Bilingual preferred Desired: Experience with modern web technologies such as jQuery, Bootstrap, and REST Experience with LINQ Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL) Experience with IIS and Tomcat application servers For non permanent residents, having a valid work permit is required Fluent in English, French and Spanish
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
