Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Intermediate Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic claims team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio from first notice to final resolution.

The Role

As an Intermediate Multi-Line Claims Adjuster, you will manage a portfolio of auto, liability, and property claims. You will be responsible for applying your expertise to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims efficiently and equitably while providing superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive claims investigations, including reviewing policy coverage, analyzing wordings, and understanding circumstances of loss. Inspect damages, review medical documentation, and conduct site visits as required. Take detailed statements from parties and witnesses. Determine liability and assess coverage, applying a strong knowledge of applicable laws and fair claims practices. Evaluate damages and negotiate fair and timely settlements. Authorize and process claim payments. Manage a full caseload from intake to resolution, ensuring all files are handled with a sense of urgency and accuracy. Maintain precise and accurate reserves for all open claims. Prioritize and organize claims tasks to meet established commitments and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a claims adjuster. CIP designation or actively working toward completion. Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and analytical skills to solve problems and make independent decisions. Superior written and verbal communication skills, including excellent listening and comprehension abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proven flexibility to handle work outside of regular business hours when required. Strong financial literacy with a focus on accuracy in reserving. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to complete field work. Awareness of field work hazards and the ability to take appropriate safety precautions.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
