Agilus is recruiting for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in the Engineering Industry in Victoria, British Columbia. We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Victoria, BC. This role involves designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems for new construction and renovations. The ideal candidate is a registered P.Eng. with strong technical skills, project management experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. A typical day:

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for new builds and renovations
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation
• Manage projects from concept to completion
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development
• Adapt to evolving market demands and project requirements
• Deliver high-quality, innovative mechanical solutions

Successful candidates will have:

• P.Eng. registration in British Columbia
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of consulting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Knowledge of BC Building Code and local regulations
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
