Job Description


As an Intermediate Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of our finance team supporting the Chief Financial Officer and Refining & Supply Operations. You will provide assistance with preparation and analysis of financial information and operational performance by supporting financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide financial support to our Refining & Supply business.

Support preparation of forecasts through regular engagement with stakeholders.

Provide primary support for the preparation and consolidation of the annual business plan.

Financial and operational stewardship reporting and analysis.

Produce and support quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors.

Produce and support analysis and reports for the Corporate teams.

Ad-hoc reporting as required.

Your Skills:

Strong analytical skills.

Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines / proven ability to meet hard deadlines.

Strong attention to detail.

Good presentation skills.

Strong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Your Experience:

Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

Minimum 3 years of experience working in finance and/or financial applications.

Possess or working towards a professional designation such as CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant).

Experience in Cognos/TM1 is an asset.
