What you can expect in a typical day:

As an Intermediate Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of our finance team supporting the Chief Financial Officer; with the work focused upon results from our Corporate teams. You will provide assistance with preparation and analysis of financial information and operational performance by supporting financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Produce and support analysis and reports for the Corporate teams
• Support preparation of forecasts through regular engagement with stakeholders
• Provide primary support for the preparation and consolidation of the annual business plan
• Financial and operational stewardship reporting and analysis
• Produce and support quarterly reporting to the Audit and Finance Committee and Board of Directors
• Ad-hoc reporting as required.

• Proven ability to maintain good working relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines / proven ability to meet hard deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Travel

• Minimal travel is a requirement for this role.

Education and experience

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in finance or accounting.
• Possess or working towards a professional designation such as CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant).
• Experience in Cognos/TM1 is an asset.
