Shift: Non Union, Days, Monday - Friday

JOB SUMMARY:

Acting as an ambassador for the mission, vision, values and goals of the Finance Team, the Intermediate Financial Analyst, Capital and Treasury will:

  • Provide leadership, guidance and oversight related to the Hospital\xe2\x80\x99s capital planning and reporting including project accounting ,and Foundation granting support
  • Provide support with hospital\xe2\x80\x99s treasury functions including short term and long term cash flow forecasting, asset investment recommendations, and related financing recommendations
  • Maintain the fixed asset and deferred capital grant/donation ledger, continuity schedules, capital project accounts, and reconcile monthly the detailed subsidiary ledger to the general ledger
  • Prepare all year end working papers, schedules and reports related to capital and treasury for the external year end audit
  • Prepare and present ad-hoc reports on financial information to Senior Leadership, providing valuable insights and recommendations
  • Identify, develop and implement process improvements through simplification and automation, to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, with a focus on capital planning, reporting, and treasury functions within a healthcare or related setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office, with a strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Known for being results driven, with a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to make decisions and solve complex problems
  • Proven track record with building and maintaining cross-functional relationships is a necessity along with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, data driven insights, and a proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Financial Management and a Professional Accounting Designation: CPA/CA/CMA/CGA (completed or in progress)
