We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer in Training (EIT) - Project Manager to join a dynamic Engineering team at our Calgary office. This role offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to embark on a fulfilling career path with ample room for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:



Conducting site investigations, construction reviews and inspections

Data management

Writing and editing formal reports, letters, and memos in MS Suite

Providing oversight and leadership to technicians, technologists, and other EITs, reviewing and approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates.

Qualifications:



Valid Canadian driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. Degree in geological or civil engineering. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering and materials testing Solid understanding of soil mechanics and soil classification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Enrollment or eligibility to enroll with APEGA as an Engineer-In-Training.
