We offer clients advanced in-house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in-house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn-key solutions. In our busy industry, we consistently manage a strong and steady backlog of work extending well beyond a year, which ensures a secure and reliable workflow.


We are seeking a qualified electrical apprentice to fill a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate must be a team player and have technical experience in industrial electrical and control wiring. The candidate must also have a great attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve potential problems.

Duties and responsibilities:

Electrical installation and control panel assemblies Read and interpret schematic drawings Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code Layout of equipment while ensuring manufacturers installation instructions and all code requirements are adhered to. Drilling holes and mounting equipment as per the general arrangement drawings Install conduit and cable Wire terminations of electrical equipment Confirm wiring of components as they are completed. Review bill of materials for accuracy and flag any errors immediately Redline drawings as required during assembly Review finished assembly for accuracy. Occasional Site work and associated travel Input weekly timesheets accurately and in a timely manner. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of conduct in the shop. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Other assigned duties as required

Requirements

Education:

o High school diploma or equivalent


o Accredited trade school or equivalent

Experience:

o 3+ Years of relevant electrical experience or equivalent


o 3+ Years as a junior electrician or equivalent
