Job Title: Intermediate Deskside

What you will be doing:
Assist end users with questions about any of our supported software and computing platforms in a professional and courteous manner
Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking
Monitor the performance of clients' desktop infrastructure and device plans for improved efficiency
Install applications and computer peripherals
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a variety of environments
Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
Record technical issues and solutions in logs
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
Carry a mobile phone for clients and/or support
Track personal time billings and report them in a timely manner
Attend a quarterly Career Life Planning session, and update your Personal Development Program (PDP) portal, with your Team Lead or Manager to discuss your interests, training opportunities, your utilization, and other exciting topics
Contribute to various government audits and special programs that participate in every year. Part of your duties will be to participate in these programs where needed as they relate to your technology area(s).

What you must have:
1+ year(s) of customer service or consulting experience
CCNA Certified
Experience with the following:
Supporting a Microsoft environment in a deskside support role
Microsoft Office 2010/2013/O365
Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
Remote support
PC / printer hardware/VPN/Citrix
Active Directory
Supporting mobile devices
Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like printers
Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
