About the Role
We are currently seeking a full time
Control Systems Integrator
with a background in
upstream SCADA
platforms
to join our team in
Calgary, Alberta.
The successful candidate will have Intermediate to Senior experience
(4-10 years+ )
and experience in the following areas:
Minimum 3 years experience in upstream oil and gas automation
Hands-on automation experience in system platforms targeting:
+ PLC, RTU (ROC, Scadapack, Bristol, etc) and
+ HMI/SCADA. (eg. Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, ABB, Aveva , Ignition, VTscada, etc) Experience building operator screens
Working knowledge a variety of RTU/PLC hardware and I/O types
Experience using platform specific client libraries
Comfort working in virtualized environments, using Virtualization toolsets
Key Responsibilities:
Interface with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support
Develop, maintain and manage relationships with clients, engineers, contractors, etc.
Integrate control systems with existing equipment and processes
Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and support of control systems
Prepare documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and training materials
Collaborate with project teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Cleared and current Criminal Background Check
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Working Conditions:
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM,
Overtime and/or working weekends may be required
Up to 30% travel may be required
