Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed storm, sanitary, and watermain design drawings.
Prepare calculations and memos to support pipe sizing for storm, sanitary and waterworks.
Prepare construction cost estimates.
Develop roadworks drawings, including plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
Create servicing concept and zoning plans.
Prepare and design Stormwater Management Plans, calculations, and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.
Produce detailed design drawings to support subdivision and building permit applications.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, Indigenous communities and subconsultants.
Conduct construction inspections and provide on-site support as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience (co-op experience may be considered) in civil engineering design and drafting; candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior position.
Proficiency in Civil 3D is essential.
Working knowledge of MMCD, CCDC, and related construction documents is preferred.
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
Preference: Experience working directly for, as, or in collaboration with Indigenous communities and knowledge of culturally respectful engagement practices.

Compensation
Competitive salary and bonus structure, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Estimated range is $70,000 - $90,000 annual salary.
