Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare preliminary and final designs for infrastructure renewal projects, stormwater systems, culverts, watermains, sanitary and storm sewers, and grading. Coordinate approvals and prepare tender documents, cost estimates, contract documents, and reports (including sealing documents). Develop designs, drawings, and technical specifications. Write technical engineering reports. Conduct site visits for information gathering, construction reviews, and attend project design and construction meetings. Prepare proposals and manage project assignments.

Qualifications

Registered or eligible to register with Engineers Nova Scotia. 5+ years' experience in civil/municipal engineering. Familiar with applicable design standards. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A Master's Degree would be considered an asset.

Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
