This role will give you the opportunity to:

Utilize your drafting and civil design abilities using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Work on a diverse range of civil and geotechnical engineering projects, including; water storage and tailings dams, foundations and geohazards, municipal infrastructure, roads, surface water drainage, flood and erosion protection, and irrigation canals. Prepare, update, finalize and file engineering drawings and packages Work in a collaborative, open door, community environment that values innovation, teamwork and professional development.

If you have 5+ years of related experience using Civil 3D and a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting, we want to hear from you!

We value your:

Proficiency using the latest version of Civil 3D (2020 or higher) Exposure or working knowledge of Global Mapper and ArcGIS Pro (an asset but not required) Knowledge of earthworks and civil engineering in mining environments (an asset but not required) Strong interpersonal skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead and oversee the preparation of civil designs, drawings and specifications for various projects. Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Attention to detail, and ability to interpret the work, actively collaborate with the project team, and ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards and client requirements Initiative, positive work ethic and commitment to continuous learning Exceptional time management and organizational skills
