Job Description

Adamson Associates Architects provides architectural services on iconic projects across the world from offices in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Vancouver. We are currently seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will join our Toronto-based design team, which works across a range of project types and scales, with a focus on early-phase design for large, complex developments.



This position is ideal for candidates with

7+ years of architectural experience

, particularly those who have played a key role in the

design of mixed-use buildings, residential developments, or master plans

. You should be comfortable taking ownership of design and project tasks, iterating ideas, preparing high-quality presentation materials, and collaborating closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams. You must be

competent in a Revit environment

.

The Ideal Candidate:

Proficiency in 3D modelling software

- strong

Revit experience is essential

; familiarity with Rhino is an asset

Ability to set up and manage Revit projects

independently, including model coordination and drawing standards

Experience with early-phase design documentation

, including Rezoning, Site Plan Approval (SPA), and municipal submissions Working knowledge of Codes, Zoning By-laws, and applicable Design Standards and Guidelines Understanding of building design and constructability, with the ability to translate concepts into feasible solutions

Good design sensibility

- able to communicate ideas through clear and compelling drawings, diagrams, and layouts

Work Status: Permanent Full Time



Office Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 (Overtime may be required from time to time depending on project needs)
