The Opportunity

We're currently looking for a skilled and motivated

Intermediate Accountant

to join our

Tax Team

. This is a full-time,

in-office

position where you'll play a key role in preparing tax returns, supporting client needs, and growing your public practice career.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing and reviewing personal (T1), corporate (T2), and trust (T3) tax returns Assisting with tax planning and compliance for a range of clients Responding to CRA correspondence and supporting audit/review processes Preparing working papers and year-end financial files Communicating directly with clients and building trusted relationships Collaborating with team members on tax engagements Overseeing junior, seasonal tax team member(s) Staying up to date on current tax legislation and industry trends Assisting with catch up bookkeeping projects on an as-needed basis, as capacity permits.

What You Bring:

2-4 years of experience, with a focus on tax CPA designation in progress or completed (preferred), or related experience Strong understanding of Canadian tax legislation and filing requirements Proficiency in tax and accounting software (e.g., Profile, CaseWare, QuickBooks) Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail Ability to independently manage work flow and meet deadlines Supervisory / leadership skills an asset A collaborative mindset and a positive, client-first attitude
