• Prepare and process the payroll cycle runs that are performed bi-monthly ensuring payroll is accurate and disbursed timely.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation (bank accounts, general accounts, prepaid accounts, AP & AR accounts, intercompany accounts, etc).
• Assist in processing GST/PST remittance on a monthly basis.
• General support to the Finance function and assist with other general accounting duties as an when required.
• Process accounts payable invoices entered into Exflow/Navision to ensure they are recorded properly and timely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Canadian payroll experience
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field, or a combination of relevant qualifications and experience.
• Experience in a similar position with general accounting, reconciliations, analysis, reporting, payables, and receivables is essential.
• Proven abilities in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc) including the ability to manipulate large volume of data.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using Accounting Software required (Navision experience a plus).
• Experience processing payroll required (PGI experience a plus).
