Overview:
As a Foreman in high rise apartment building construction, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Finishing Superintendent with tasks beginning with wall framing to completion. Your expertise in carpentry and leadership skills will ensure that the construction progresses smoothly and meets quality standards within the designated timelines.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Provide leadership and supervision to a team of construction workers, ensuring they understand their tasks and responsibilities in the construction process.
Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Finishing Superintendent and other construction team members to plan and execute work efficiently.
Material Management: Assist with the procurement and management of materials, ensuring they are available as needed and that inventory levels are maintained.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality in all work, conducting inspections as directed by the Finishing Superintendent.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Training and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior workers, helping them improve their skills and knowledge of construction techniques.
Problem-solving: Identify and resolve any challenges or obstacles that arise during the construction process, keeping the project on track.
Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the Finishing Superintendent, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed of progress and any issues that may arise.
Documentation: Keep accurate records of carpentry work completed, including materials used, labor hours, and any deviations from the original plan.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
