Game Master at Escape Room

At Bamboozled we strive to bring exhilarating fantasy escape games to life. We are a passionate creative team who bring our talents together to create immersive fantasy environments, games and puzzles. We are on the hunt for a Game Master to join our quest to create and bring the most captivating stories and puzzles to life.

This role will be part time. During the summer (July - August) hours available will be between 15 - 24 per week and during the fall will be 12 - 20 hours per week.

*Must have a flexible schedule and be available to pick up emergency shifts.

Your role (should you accept it) will include:

Booking games for customers Answering customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person Taking payment Ensuring games stay on schedule Monitoring game play and anticipating customer needs Resetting the game rooms Taking photos for groups Cleaning all areas of the facility Following Bamboozled policies and procedures
We are looking for an individual who:

provides great customer service is passionate about escape rooms, art or entertainment is reliable and punctual has strong time management skills can think on their feet is an effective team member and team leader is available on Thursdays & Fridays 2:30 - 10:30 and 11:30am- 11:30pm on weekends Is available to work with short notice is vaccinated against Covid-19
Assets

Acting: Stage, screen, voice, LARPing, D&D Master Graphic design or video editing: Adobe suite preferred Social Media Marketing: Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram Puzzle or Game Design Visual and Digital Arts: Painting, drawing, crafts, ect... Trades: Woodworking, sculpting, electrical, mechanics
*We will be prioritizing canadidates with fine art skills. (Specifically with props and set creating experience.)

While we value any additional skills or experience we are more interested in a candidate who demonstrates passion and is eager to learn.

Candidates must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are also looking for someone who will be available on some week days. Applications must include a resume and cover letter.
