A typical day:

ul

Review, analyze, and conduct pipeline defect analysis utilizing direct assessment, in-line inspection, pressure test, and other assessment data to propose remedial or follow up actions
/li
li
Perform advanced quantitative risk analysis (likelihood of failure, consequence modeling, corrosion growth, etc.)
/li
li
Perform Engineering Assessments to determine the continued safe operation of the pipeline
/li
li
Communicate directly with our integrity vendors to ensure consistency and quality of pipeline integrity services provided
/li
li
Develop and support excavation programs
/li
li
Provide technical support to internal stakeholders as required
/li
li
Interact with regulatory agencies and provide audit support as required
/li
li
Assist internal response to pipeline failures and root cause investigations
/li

Successful candidates will have:

Completion of Undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited program
/li
li
4 or more years\' of transmission pipeline integrity work or equivalent industry experience
/li
li
Exceptional interpersonal skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment both in person and remotely
/li
li
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and maintain a strong focus and attention to detail
/li
li
Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192, 49CFR Part 195, and related industry standards
/li
li
Knowledge of in-line inspection tools and pipeline condition evaluations
/li

Agilus is recruiting for a Integrity Engineer (Junior) in the oil & gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. A typical day:

  • Review, analyze, and conduct pipeline defect analysis utilizing direct assessment, in-line inspection, pressure test, and other assessment data to propose remedial or follow up actions
