Appointment of Integrity Commissioner
The City of Regina and City of Saskatoon (the "Cities") invite applications from individuals to act as an Integrity Commissioner for both Cities on an as needed basis for up to a 4 year term (the term may be for two years with an option to extend the contract for two additional one year terms). The services required include providing advice and education to Council members and accepting and investigating complaints of the two City's respective code of ethics bylaws that apply to City Council members including making recommendations on sanctions where violations are found.
The intent of this posting is to seek submissions from interested individuals with past experience in providing legal advice on ethical matters and conducting investigations. Only those candidates who are deemed to be qualified by the Cities will be contacted. The successful candidates will be considered to be independent contractors and will be asked to enter into separate contracts with each City for the services required.
