YOUR ROLE

You will be the System Integration Technical Lead responsible for leading ALDO\'s Integration and Engineering architecture across our integration function. Determining strategy and roadmap for the integration and engineering domains, governing the platforms, patterns, and use; transforming what is there today onto next generation systems for one Canada\'s leading retailers.

This is role which requires both individual accountability and collaborative working with ESB, BI and Digital teams and Product Owners, Developers, Data Engineers, and Integration Analysts. Working as a team, you\'ll need to ensure capabilities and strategies for information delivery and data exploration are there to support business function needs and goals.

• Leading and coaching a high-performing team of Integration Analysts, Developers, and Data Engineers.
• Design and lead the system architecture process, in partnership with the Development Team, to create, define specifications for, and implement customizations for any custom code or data integration requirements.
• Ensuring systems integration across suite of core application platforms
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Design conceptual and logical data models, flowcharts and system architecture diagrams
• Design and lead the system architecture process, in partnership with the Development Team, to create, define specifications for and implement customizations for any custom code or data integration requirements
• Assessment of application requirements and translation to system and development efforts
• Define security and backup procedures
• Coordinate with the Product owners and BI department to identify future needs and requirements

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE\'RE LOOKING FOR?

• BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
• At least 5 years\' experience in projects involving different applications including SAP (EDI, ESB, PIPO, BTP, Microservices) in a large organization and be aware of the challenges faced by different teams in coming up with an integrated enterprise-wide solution
• Extensive experience working with TalenD
• Expertise in Java technologies
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL
• In-depth understanding of database structure principles and design patterns
• System architecture design patterns
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven analytical skills
• Problem-solving attitude
• Go-getter attitude
• Reliable, flexible, curious, team player and shows initiative
• Experience gathering and analyzing functional and data requirements supporting system requirements
