Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Integration AV Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling and wiring AV equipment racks, installing audio-visual systems, and potentially programming DSPs such as BSS Soundweb and Q-SYS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV integration, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality installations.

Responsibilities:

- Build, wire, and configure AV equipment racks to industry standards.

- Install and commission AV systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems.

- Pull and terminate cables, including category, fiber, and audio/video wiring.

- Load and configure DSPs (e.g., BSS, Q-SYS) and assist in system tuning.

- Work from blueprints, schematics, and AV system drawings.

- Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure functionality and performance.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to complete installations on schedule.

- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting for clients when needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years of hands-on AV installation and integration experience.

Technical Skills:

- Familiarity with professional AV equipment, including amplifiers, DSPs, video switching systems, and control interfaces.

- Ability to read and interpret AV schematics and wiring diagrams.

- Experience with DSP programming (BSS Soundweb, Q-SYS) is a plus.

- Basic networking knowledge is a bonus.

- Certifications: CTS, CTS-I, or manufacturer certifications (Q-SYS, BSS, Crestron, Extron) preferred but not required.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry equipment, work on ladders/lifts, and perform tasks in various installation environments.

- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 60 per week
