IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

AGLC is looking for Integration and Applications Solutions Architect to join the Architecture Planning team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise & Solution Architecture, the Integration and Application Solutions Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports architecture activities that guide the analysis, development, and management of a portfolio of solutions; as well, plays a vital part in shaping the technology landscape within the AGLC. In this role, you will lead the solutions design and analysis for application and integration solutions, as well as provide strategic advice to management and stakeholder on technology related matters. This role will facilitate and collaborate with IT and other key business partners to ensure IT solutions provide desired business outcomes that align with the business strategy.
As the Integrations and Solutions Architect, you will design technology agnostic data integrations, automations and application interfaces/contracts, and prepare required artifacts. In addition, assist stakeholders in all integration and automation processes and design various architecture solutions/programs for all application layers. You will also provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for the integration and application domain. You will design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong abilities in written and verbal communication; as well as, have excellent analytical, planning organizational and technical skills. You must be able to solve complex problems and effectively communicate throughout the organization. In addition, you must have thought leadership and be skilled at influencing, guiding, and facilitating stakeholders and peers. You must be able to translate future state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements while considering the long term and short-term goals.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a Degree in computer science or related technology focused discipline and 5 years of experience, including 2 years leading projects and/or supervising others.

Additional required knowledge, skills and abilities include:
  • In depth knowledge of enterprise architecture disciplines such as business, application, data, cloud and security
  • Knowledge of various integration platforms such as Mulesoft or Azure Integration Services
  • Knowledge of various database technologies like MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Oracle
  • In depth knowledge of application development technologies and frameworks including web development, client server, multi-tier, database and middleware
  • Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and SDLC methodologies such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps
  • Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Knowledge and understanding of different modeling languages (such as UML and ArchiMate)
  • Understand cloud architecture and automation
  • Understanding of emerging technologies like AI / ML / RPA
  • Understanding of high-level disaster recovery framework planning, design and implementation Ability to work with domain architects and developers in an in-and-out outsourced environment
  • Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions
