Integrated Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk




Full-time temporary contract (12 months)

POSITION SUMMARY






Reporting to the Director of Finance, the position is responsible for the accounts payable/receivable function for CMHA Lambton Kent, Chatham Kent Community Health Centre and Healthcare Partners. The incumbent will process accounts receivable, payable transactions, generate payments to vendors and payees. In addition, the incumbent will work alongside and provide backup support to the Finance team as required.

the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions:




Collect, sort and code invoices & expense forms to be processed for payment by the appropriate provider. Communicate with Vendors and/or appropriate staff at each agency for billing and account inquires. Maintain and modify centralized Purchase Order tracking system for applicable agencies by cross-referencing for proper authorizations in accordance with each agencies policy. Support and assist in the reporting, recording, and collection of each agencies revenue recoveries. Forward A/R invoices and related information/documents to agencies/customer for payment. Provide backup support to the Finance team as required.




Education required:



Post-secondary education (Diploma or Degree) in Accounting or Business/Office Administration deemed relevant by the agency; A minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field; Experience in the public or non-profit sector will be considered an asset; Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a car.



Hours of Work:

35 hours/week 8:30am-5:00pm. Flexible hours are required to meet the position requirements.
