The Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal and related support services.

About the Role

The Intake Coordinator is part of a collaborative intake team and manages the initial client intake process, assesses needs, determines eligibility, and connects clients with appropriate legal and community resources. This role is essential in ensuring clients receive timely, respectful, and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct client intake interviews and complete intake documentation Assess client needs and eligibility for clinic services Provide referrals to legal, social, and community resources Maintain accurate and confidential client records in case management systems Provide clear information, empathy, and professional support to clients Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and external service providers Assist with general administrative duties and intake process improvements

What We're Looking For

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Excellent organizational and data-entry skills Experience in intake, legal clinics, social services, or community work is an asset Knowledge of community resources in Central Alberta is an asset Knowledge of an additional language is an asset
