reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for the orderly management of the client intake process and maintenance of client files according to Centre policies and procedures. The role also liaises with referral workers from other agencies and treatment centres to ensure smooth client support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client intake processes in an organized manner
Maintain client files according to Centre policies and procedures
Liaise with referral workers from other agencies and treatment centres
Support staff, clients, and the general public with professionalism and cultural respect
Experience & Qualifications:
Six months of community work experience with First Nations people
Minimum three years' experience in a health organization
Demonstrated time management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Works, and Excel
Post-secondary education in office administration, financial management, bookkeeping, or computer applications
Two years' experience in a similar role
Commitment to a healthy lifestyle and personal wellness plan
Respect for First Nations cultural practices and trauma-informed approach
Strong interpersonal skills with staff, clients, and the general public
Other Requirements:
Basic First Aid and CPR certificate
Valid BC Driver's License (preferably Class 4)
Minimum Grade 12 education
Criminal Record Check for vulnerable persons
Oath of confidentiality
Salary:
$44,008 - $51,197
