Position Overview

The Family Doctor Finder Program [FDFP] is a provincial program that helps to match Manitobans to a family doctor, nurse practitioner or pediatrician. Manitobans without a primary care provider call FDF registration services and register with the program. FDFP Intake Assistants will receive this information and contact each registrant via telephone to match them with a provider based on their individual needs.

Reporting to the Manager, the FDFP Intake Assistant is responsible for providing front-line outbound/inbound call services and associated administrative functions. The incumbent processes requests for FDFP services, matching registrants to available primary care providers and ensures relevant data entry is completed and managed in the Unattached Patient Registry database.
