In This Role You Will:
Make outbound contact attempts to customers, insurance brokers and insurance companies to confirm insurance coverage and collect policies within company guidelines.
Respond to inbound calls and written correspondence related to insurance policy issues and confirmation from customers, dealers, insurance brokers and insurance companies.
Audit for accuracy and completeness of insurance policies coverages to ensure they meet minimum contractual/coverage requirements. Liaise with third party vendor to update, correct and accurately reflect insurance tracking status on accounts assigned for follow-up.
Review reports identifying province/name changes and follow up for new registrations and insurance policies to ensure insurance coverage requirements.
Prepare miscellaneous authorization letters (storage, out of country) as required/requested within procedural guidelines. Respond to customer and dealer inquiries regarding insurance coverage in a timely and efficient manner.
Make recommendations on escalated/unresolved files, including but not limited to repossession once all efforts for resolution have been exhausted.
Counseling - providing customers with options when trying to resolve difficult files - Frequently.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Advanced understanding of vehicle insurance policy coverages
Experience:
Minimum 1 year work related experience in professional collections, customer service, insurance tracking or other auto industry related work experience.
Advanced knowledge MS Office suite of products
Previous experience in a call center environment
High school diploma required
