experienced, licensed Insurance Specialist
to serve the
Ontario North & East region
, supporting branches in
Timmins, Sturgeon Falls, Sudbury, Bells Corners, Baseline, Stittsville, Rideau, O'Connor, and Orleans

Role Overview
This role blends
relationship management and sales execution
-- ideal for an advisor who thrives on collaboration, education, and client engagement.
You'll act as the regional insurance expert, partnering with National Bank advisors to help them identify protection opportunities and deliver complete insurance planning for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1? Wholesaling & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with National Bank advisors across assigned branches.
Conduct one-on-one meetings, team presentations, and training sessions to help advisors identify insurance opportunities within their client base.
Collaborate with financial planners, retail advisors, and commercial teams to increase the number and quality of insurance referrals.
Track activity and results by branch; create awareness campaigns and joint business-development initiatives.
2? Client-Facing Sales & Implementation
Receive referred clients and complete full insurance needs analysis.
Recommend appropriate life, disability, critical illness, or corporate insurance solutions using a multi-carrier platform.
Prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and complete all paperwork from application to policy delivery.
Provide exceptional post-sale service and maintain ongoing client relationships.
What We're Looking For
Active Life & Health (LLQP) Licence - required
2+ years of life and living benefits sales experience
, preferably in a bank, MGA, or insurance brokerage environment
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through relationship development
Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading meetings and training sessions
Ability to work autonomously, manage a regional territory, and travel periodically to branch locations
Organized, proactive, and skilled at managing a sales pipeline
Comfortable with digital tools, CRM, and virtual presentation software
Compensation
Contractor arrangement (T4A)
- no payroll deductions or employer fees
Compensation:
Commission-based with quarterly bonus opportunities tied to referral growth and production metrics
Strong referral pipeline through existing National Bank partnership (warm leads, not cold calls)
Additional marketing and case-management support provided by Northwise's centralized admin team
