Job Summary

Johnston Meier Insurance has an exciting position available for a Branch Manager at our Rutland office in Kelowna, BC. Must have General Insurance Level 3 License (or Level 2 and willing to achieve Level 3 License), and at least five years of insurance industry and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the team in achieving sales by providing coaching, guidance and skill development Manage team scheduling, ensuring efficient coverage and workflow Provide payroll submissions to the payroll department Assist with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines and Autoplan business, providing expertise and support as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations by all employees Maintain open communication with head office regularly

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Minimum Level 3 General Insurance Agent License Strong leadership skills Strong coaching abilities Knowledgeable in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines and Autoplan Insurance Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers and team members Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills Good verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service Management experience (minimum 2 years) Be flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary Computer skills required with working knowledge of Word & Excel
