Key Responsibilities:

Audit & Investigation:

Conduct thorough audits, investigate documentation, and report results with actionable recommendations.

Presentation Skills:

Effectively present audit findings and manage all related documentation and reports.

Meetings & Testimony:

Attend meetings and hearings, providing necessary testimony and communicating governance practices.

Industry Awareness:

Stay updated on industry practices and regulations.

Corporate Contribution:

Process Feedback:

Provide valuable feedback on processes, particularly in Complaints and Investigations.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with staff across the organization.

Modernization Support:

Support modernization efforts and uphold corporate values.

Essential Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Professional Designation:

CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) and/or CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional).

Industry Experience:

5-10 years in the insurance industry, including brokerage operations.

Mobility:

Access to a vehicle for work-related tasks.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in business or finance.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong understanding of accounting and legal terminology, proficient in Microsoft Office.

Core Skills:

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.

Confidentiality & Judgment:

Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.

Nice to Have:

Principal Broker Experience:

Previous experience as a Principal Broker is an asset.

Language Skills:

French language skills are an asset.
