JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidate must speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Conduct interviews in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese for life/health insurance applications.

INSURANCE INSPECTOR

Candidate must speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a must due to extensive Chinese speaking client base.

Must be able to successfully complete in house testing.

Must be able to work shifts regularly.

EDUCATION

A bachelor's degree, college diploma or some post-secondary education required. Several years of experience as a general insurance clerk or completion of insurance industry courses or training programs.

COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Windows, General office equipment, Electronic mail and scheduler, MS Office (Expert), Internet browser, Database software.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

Conduct interviews in English, Cantonese and Mandarin for substantial life insurance policies.

Deal with difficult and uncooperative clients.

Examine records and reports to determine insurance coverage.

Translate medical and financial documents from Cantonese to English or Mandarin to English.

SECURITY AND SAFETY

Basic security clearance, criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), credit check.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years experience in professional office environment.

Minimum 1 year experience in life, health and disability Insurance.

SALARY

$37,500 per annum
