We are seeking a motivated knowledgeable and experienced Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a level 2 license and strong background in sales, particularly in the insurance sector, and will be responsible for helping clients navigate their insurance options. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions. A commitment to exceptional customer service is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Sell automobile, property, marine and other types of insurance to clients
Establish client insurance coverage, calculate premiums and establish method of payment
Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed
Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries
Identify and solicit potential clientele.
Requirements
At least 5 years of insurance industry experience
Level 2 license
CIP or CAIB designation preferred
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be client focused
Good knowledge of markets and their policy wordings
Good quantitative skills and personal computer literacy strong Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills, listening, verbal and written Detail oriented
Ability to work well with others throughout the organization and independently carry out assignments
Post-Secondary education or equivalent work experience

Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
