Responsibilities
Develop new client relationships through outside sales, retail sales, and telemarketing efforts.
Assess clients' insurance needs by analyzing their financial situations and risk profiles.
Present and explain various insurance policies, coverage options, and benefits to prospective clients.
Negotiate policy terms and premiums to secure favorable deals for clients while meeting company standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining ongoing communication.
Conduct marketing activities to promote insurance products and expand the client base.
Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, policy processing, and follow-up communications.
Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes affecting insurance sales.
Requirements
Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred; additional multilingual abilities are a plus.
Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to client engagement.
Knowledge of insurance products, sales strategies, and marketing techniques.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple client accounts efficiently.
