We are seeking motivated and dynamic Insurance Agents for full time and part time positions to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while helping clients understand their insurance needs and options. You will engage in sales activities, build relationships with potential clients, and contribute to the growth of our agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others secure their futures through comprehensive insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify appropriate insurance products for clients.
Engage in outside sales activities, including networking, prospecting, and telemarketing to generate new business opportunities.
Provide expert advice on various insurance policies, including auto, travel and home insurance.
Assist clients with policy renewals and claims processes to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with team members on marketing strategies to promote insurance products effectively.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities through effective sales administration practices.
Skills
Level 1 or level 2 BC Insurance license .
Minimum six months of experience in ICBC AutoPlan , including Policy Center operations, travel insurance and personal lines.
Familiarity of ICBC batching is must.
Experience with handling cash.
Proficient in written and verbal English communication skills.
Mandarin speaking is
preferred
Good command of speaking additional languages will be given preference.
This position relies on proficient computer skills, including Window
Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
Strong negotiation skills to effectively close sales while ensuring client satisfaction.
Analytical skills to assess client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
Experience in telemarketing or direct sales is advantageous.
