WHO WE ARE
Home Auto Life (HAL) is a seven year old company, and a sister company to Quantus Mortgage Solutions which has been helping families with their financial needs for the past fifteen years. HAL is based out of Calgary, but conducts business throughout Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon. We are a small, boutique brokerage, working with several of the top insurance markets in Canada.
HAL is looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor
We are looking for an insurance professional who shares our values that customer service is everything in our industry. They should love the idea of a fast-paced environment and look forward to a role where every day you are taking wearing many hats and pitching in to help the team wherever necessary. This person ideally has a book of business, or a strong referral network established, and is comfortable being a one stop shop to both sell and service their own clients and some of our own database.
YOUR DAY AS A PERSONAL INSURANCE ADIVSOR
• Data entry, establish new clients using SigXP, then continuing with the file yourself, or assigning to another advisor.
• Obtain the information needed to quote, and provide quotes directly to our clients or another team member.
• Administer policy changes as required.
• Issue new policies where required.
• Issue monthly accounting and expense reports for the team with various providers.
• Manage all accounting discrepancies.
• Produce monthly production reports and other metric reports.
• Assist with commission and payroll duties semi-monthly.
• Assisting with claims and updating systems where needed.
• Various office duties where required.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
• 1+ years of working with personal lines clients and files.
• Excellent computer skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Knowledge of SigXP would be an asset, past usage of EPIC or TAM would be useful
• Minimum level I license and actively working towards their Leve II.
• Attention to detail and precision are essential.
• Flexibility; ability to prioritize multiple ongoing tasks.
• Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

OFFICE INFORMATION
Our Calgary office is situated in the Southeast. We provide a workspace at both our office, and a functional setup for work from home as well. Our ideal candidate would live in Calgary, but we would be willing to entertain a 100% remote situation for the right qualified candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $48,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
