What We're Looking For
Our Community Branch Network Division is seeking a client-focused
Insurance Advisor, Auto
. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Our Aldergrove office first opened its doors in 1980 and has been operating there ever since. We are proud to be a long-term partner in the community, providing insurance solutions to both businesses and individuals in the area for over 30 years.
Responsibilities
:
Providing ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships
Assisting in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter, answering telephones and completing other tasks as assigned
Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production
Committing to remaining connected to HUB International in the bigger picture and understand the mission, values and goals of HUB
Interpreting and ensuring that insurer (ICBC, Family, etc.) and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed
Handling any customer complaints appropriately
Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
Continuing professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications
Level 1 General Insurance License mandatory
6 months+ Auto Insurance experience
Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
Sales initiative and drive
Must have use of own personal vehicle to travel to dealership locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
Exceptional customer service skills

The expected salary range for this position is $41,500 to $65,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
