Job Summary

Come work for an industry leader in quality and service! We are seeking a skilled Insulation Lead Hand to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a crew in installing attic and wall insulation to enhance energy efficiency and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of blown cellulose, air sealing and ventilation in various different situations. The Insulation Lead Hand will be responsible for training crew members and ensuring that only the highest quality of workmanship is being practiced. We pride ourselves in providing a top quality product that exceeds industry standards.

Duties

Lead a crew in the installation of various types of insulation materials including fiberglass and cellulose in walls and attics. Communicate with customers and other trades onsite politely and respectfully. Take part in other various construction projects, including concrete, framing, decks, fences, etc. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to cut and shape insulation materials. Apply caulking or sealants to prevent air leaks and enhance insulation effectiveness. Blow loose-fill cellulose into attics. Dense-pack cellulose into wall cavities. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Experience

Experience in retrofit insulation work is preferred. Carpentry skills and experience are a plus. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Experience leading a crew on construction projects.

Requirements

Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work. Must be comfortable working in tight spaces. Must be able to fit into tight spaces, specifically when accessing an attic through a roof vent.
